Academic and professional visits, placements and research
The Neighbourhood Justice Centre's doors are always open to academics and other professionals interested in community justice and the work of the Centre.
We also share our resources, including many of our operational models, principles, practices, and other foundation material.
You may also be interested in organising a tour with colleagues. Most tour sizes are between 10-20, but we can discuss your needs with you.
Our tours typically include:
- an overview of community justice
- understanding of the work of the Centre
- a tour of the Centre
- Interactive activities
- the opportunity to watch the court in action
As we curate tours to meet the specific needs of visitors your tour will including workshops or information sessions delivered by senior staff and subject experts working at the Centre.
The NJC welcomes the opportunity to collaborate or partner in research.

From time to time NJC may provide opportunities for academics and professionals to develop and gain profession experience at the NJC to improve their career opportunities, or skills and understanding.
