Looking out for you

Covid-19 hasn’t made things easy. Many Yarra residents are feeling socially isolated and disconnected from community.

Not everyone knows how to use Zoom or other online services, so keeping in touch with family or getting stuff done can be hard.

Some days all you need is help with an errand, or conversation with someone who understands how you’re feeling.

Thankfully that’s what good neighbours are for.

You’ll hear a friendly voice when you phone the Neighbourhood Justice Centre, so talk to us for support.

How we help

  • Emotional support - call us any time for a chat
  • Practical help - errands, learn how to use Zoom or other internet apps to stay connected
  • Activities - links to online book clubs, fitness groups, volunteer groups, Neighbourhood Houses, and more.
