Looking out for you

Covid-19 hasn’t made things easy. Many Yarra residents are feeling socially isolated and disconnected from community.

Not everyone knows how to use Zoom or other online services, so keeping in touch with family or getting stuff done can be hard.

Some days all you need is help with an errand, or conversation with someone who understands how you’re feeling.

Thankfully that’s what good neighbours are for.

You’ll hear a friendly voice when you phone the Neighbourhood Justice Centre, so talk to us for support.

We can link you to:

  • Emotional support services - put you in touch with the right people to talk to.
  • Practical help - find someone to help you with errands, learn how to get online (use computer) to stay connected to family and friends
  • Activities - online book clubs, fitness groups, volunteer groups, Neighbourhood Houses, and more.
