Support for anyone attending court

Court Network volunteers (called ‘Networkers), provide non-legal support and information to anyone attending court including family and friends of people attending court.

At the NJC, Networkers provide clients with range of services for including:

  • Information about court procedures
  • Referrals to community resources
  • Showing court users around the court prior to their court hearing so they’re familiar with where to go and what to expect on the day of their hearing
  • Being with them in person for their day in court.

Court Network volunteers do not provide legal advice, but they can provide information about court and community-based legal services.

Networkers are trained and supervised.

This is a free service.
